摘要: The Lake George Village sewage treatment plant has been discharging trickling filter effluent onto natural delta sand beds for a period of 35 years. applied apparently appears near the banks West Brook approximately 600 m (2000 ft) from lower beds. Wells have placed between recharge and appearance seepage at Brook. quality water in wells evaluated over slightly one year. The ground to be aerobic all times indicating that oxygen demand adequately reduced before it reaches water. This should afford adequate proper tertiary effluent. The phosphorus concentration was significantly first well downstream (ground water) 150 (500 2 reached high value μg/l during late fall but less than 100 rest year. Some nitrogen oxidized nitrate which very little removed by system. highest found 14 mg N/l 3C Spring, whereas 3A had almost consistently lowest nitrate.
