摘要: The prediction of particle size and minerals distribution in products from reduction processes is one the fundamental problems mineral processing. In this paper, a 2D model based on cellular automata proposed to simulate particles generation by discriminatory reduction. This generates images ore textures, through growing nucleation seeds. process simulated as seeds over representative texture. Each grows according rules related with probability agglomeration between different final pattern represents sections corresponding mill product, for specified milling time. Preliminary results areal distributions grade shows values quite similar experimental ones. incorporation an optimisation algorithm, will allow calibration improve these results.
