摘要: The endothelial and periendothelial parts of the blood-brain barrier in rat have been studied by electron microscopy. Extravasation horseradish peroxidase (HRP) occurred after Aramine-induced acute hypertension. It was exclusively due to a local vesicular transport. This most prominent arterioles, but also segments capillaries venules. tight junctions between adjacent cells were never penetrated HRP. Following extravasation, HRP reached basement membrane, from where it often spread into extracellular space neuropil. A phagocytic pericyte observed, exhibiting well-developed vacuolar apparatus pronounced uptake is suggested that pericytes brain represent “microglial” cells, they play an important role part barrier.
