摘要: Methane emission has been measured during 1991 wet season over all the major paddy growing areas in India. Measurements have carried out at 24 different sites covering diverse agro-climatic regions. studies entire cropping period was done only 10 located West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Delhi. Integrated methane gave values range 8 to 44 g m−2 for waterlogged (flooded) fields regions 0.1 2.1 intermittently flooded irrigated fields. Occasionally negative flux also observed budget cultivation on basis of data obtained is estimated be 4.0 Tg yr−1. Consideration lower soil temperatures other seasons may lead estimate from Indian
