Growth, Structure, and Spectral Characterization of LiNd(WO4)2

摘要: LiNd(WO4)2 crystal with dimensions up to 25 × 32 12 mm3 was grown from a flux of Li2W2O7 by the TSSG method. crystallizes in tetragonal system space group I4(1)/a (C4h6) and cell parameters = b 5.2525A, c 11.397 A, Z 2, V 314.43 A3, D 6.843 g/cm3. The polarized optical absorption fluorescence spectra were investigated. has large cross-sections 1.13 10 -20 0.97 10-20 cm2 at 805 nm for E//x E//y, respectively. It emission 67.68 1063 72.52 1068 E//y E//x, lifetime is 16.3 μs room temperature. maximum pulse laser output 11.96 mJ 1.06 mm. overall slope efficiencies 0.038 0.04%, energy threshold value Eth 5.03 J.
