摘要: Abstract This paper presents laser characteristics of neodymium-doped potassium gadolinium tungstate (KGW) crystals grown in our institute. The maximum output was 358.4 mJ a pulse at wavelength 1.067 μm when Nd3+:KGW rod with dimensions ∅3.4 mm ×24 pumped by single xenon flashlamp. overall and slope efficiencies are 1.7% 3.3%, respectively. A 204 mW an optical to efficiency 60% has been obtained the KGW:Nd3+ crystal 5 ×5 sapphire laser.
