摘要: We aimed to determine the frequency and time course of enlargement ischemic cerebral lesions following human stroke study effect state perfusion on lesion enlargement. Acute volumes were measured diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance images compared with T2-weighted at 7 days or later. Forty-four measurements performed between 2 53 hours after onset in 28 patients. Thirteen patients also had imaging performed. In 12 (43%) initial volume increased by 20% more. The number studies showing ranged from 10 (38%) 26 6 hours, 5 (33%) 15 24 48 hours. whom hypoperfusion acutely exceeded abnormality images, This provided evidence that substantial can occur beyond first 6, 12, onset. A mismatch region (larger) diffusion (smaller) may be predictive
