摘要: In Nigella damascena, where "doubleness" behaves as a single gene character, recessive to the normal wild "single" form, we detected number of differential responses cultured floral apices two forms plant growth regulators. "Single" buds initiated all organ types on defined medium lacking any "Double" buds, however, required either kinetin or GA3 for development complement. Kinetin enhanced and both genotypes, whereas GA3, at concentrations, specifically inhibited initiation stamens nectaries in buds. No combination IAA overcame this inhibition by GA3. presence following carpels, few abnormal carpelloid structures from regions which had failed produce nectaries. These observations, coupled with other studies including those endogenous levels gibberellin suggest that correlates strongly modification metabolism. The causal connection between phenomena is yet be discovered. IT IS widely assumed regulators are involved initiation, flower its organs. This assumption, explicit "florigen" concept induction implicit theories Wardlaw (1957) Heslop-Harrison (1964, 1972) morphogenesis sexuality flowers difficult test directly because small size meristems even smaller sites initiation. Because present technology does not allow us make direct estimates distribution within meristem, tests these hypotheses must necessity indirect. Three approaches available: a) reg
