Highly proton conducting fluorinated sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) copolymers with side chain grafting

摘要: A series of new copolymers HPPQSH-XX PS were synthesized from preformed sulfonated ionomers in order to get high proton conductivity along with other excellent properties. They prepared by direct copolymerization bisphenol HPP two bishalides, QBF and SDCDPS. Again the post-sulfonated using 1,3-propanesultone presence NaH analysed spectroscopic techniques. The random different statistical distribution –SO3H moiety showed very small ionic clusters (5–10 nm) whereas grafted larger domains (60–100 their TEM images. All ionomer membranes good mechanical properties, oxidative dimensional stability low water uptake swelling ratios. Ion exchange capacities (weight volume based) also calculated explain better correlation (14–125 mS cm−1 at 80 °C 15–142 90 under fully hydrated condition) membranes.
