摘要: OBJECTIVE: To assess the association between recent use of dental services, socioeconomic factors and oral health measures among elderly Brazilians. METHODS: The sample consisted individuals aged 65 to 74, who participated in Brazilian Oral Health Survey 2010 (Brazil SB-2010). dependent variable was “recent services” (last visit ≤ 2 years). independent variables were: 1) sociodemographic factors, clinical measures, subjective measure health. Statistical analysis included descriptive analyses frequency, bivariate multiple using Poisson regression. RESULTS: About 46.5% had a appointment last two years. In regression model, education, income region were independently associated with outcome. Individuals 0-20 teeth need for prosthesis lower prevalence visit. A higher observed treatment those prosthesis. CONCLUSIONS: Recent services (education, income, region) (number teeth, treatment).
