摘要: This study combines our own new and literature data on oxygen isotopic compositions of corundum from the Russian territory including deposits in Karelia, Ural, Baikal Far East regions. Corundum associated minerals placer lode are discussed this review. The colored commonly result mixing meteoric (including glacial), crustal (metamorphic–metasomatic), mantle magmatic waters. individual values closely match host rocks. allows identification sources for using δ18O value as an important component accurate diagnostics gemstones. Some corundum, especially northwestern has extreme characteristics (δ18O down to − 26.3‰), which almost invariably indicate its source location.
