Ruby–sapphire–spinel mineralization in marble of the middle and southern Urals: Geology, mineralogy, and genesis

摘要: Ruby and spinel occurrences hosted in marble on the eastern slope of Urals are considered. Ruby- spinel-bearing is a specific rock granite-gneiss complexes East Ural Megazone, which formed at Late Paleozoic collision stage evolution Urals. Organogenic marine limestone protolith marble. No relict sedimentary bedding has been retained The observed banding secondary phenomenon related to crystallization controlled by flow cleavage. Magnesian metasomatism with formation fine-grained dolomite enriched Cr, V, Ti, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ga, REE took place prograde metamorphism. Dedolomitization rocks background calcite also developed stage. Mg-calcite ruby first type metamorphic fluid circulation zone. bicarbonate ruby, pink sapphire, second early retrograde mica-bearing mineralized zones corundum third cleavage fractures pneumatolytic–hydrothermal data ruby-bearing may be used for forecasting prospecting sapphire deposits worldwide.
