摘要: Abstract Four mixtures were prepared of weight ratios 80:20, 70:30, 60:40 and 50:50 china kaolin/pure Ca(OH) 2 . Each mix was activated for h at 800°C then paste hydrated room temperature 100% RH up to 28 days. The hydration products studied by XRD as well DTA TG techniques. chemically-combined water contents quantitatively determined from the curves. results illustrate formation gehlenite hydrate (C ASH 8 ) main product; its amount increases with curing time. Hydrogarnet is also formed early stages in mixes lower lime content (e.g., 80:20) on prolonged hydration; this probably due pH reaction medium. CSH gel could not be easily detected because low degree crystallinity. However, phase identified gives characteristic losses consumed gradually proceeds disappears nearly completely after long periods (after days).
