摘要: This article describes a point of view on maturity that departs from earlier treatments in two ways. First, it rejects the popular assumption humanistic psychology is function self-actualization and stipulates related to certain performance capacities—namely, ability form lasting relationships achieve one’s career goals. Second, based an explicit model personality, holds personality most productively viewed perspective actor observer. means must also be defined perspectives—how people feel about themselves how others them. The authors briefly review some data bearing these observations.
