摘要: Platelet glass bead retention by the Salzman and infusion pump techniques were compared in 36 control individuals, 10 patients with von Willebrand's syndrome four thrombocytopathies. No significant differences between results of two assays observed. Eleven percent or less individuals had diminished platelet retention. The mean percentage group thrombocytopathy was than group. However, at least 50 normal both methods. In group, more consistently diminished. Although an inverse correlation existed duration bleeding time assays, observed only when 18 minutes longer. It has been concluded us that while may be helpful characterizing certain types disorders, they are not useful screening diagnosis syndrome.
