摘要: LIM proteins contain one or more double zinc finger structures (LIM domains) mediating specific contacts between that participate in the formation of multiprotein complexes. We report LIM-only protein DRAL/FHL2, with four and a half domains, can associate α3A, α3B, α7A, several β integrin subunits as shown yeast two-hybrid assays well after overexpression human cells. The amino acid sequence immediately following conserved membrane-proximal region α C-terminal NXXY motif are critical for binding DRAL/FHL2. Furthermore, DRAL/FHL2 associates itself other molecules bind to cytoplasmic domain subunits. Deletion analysis revealed particular domains combinations different proteins. These results, together fact full-length is found cell adhesion complexes, suggest it an adaptor/docking involved signaling pathways.
