摘要: In this critical analysis, we discuss the construct of mindfulness and address a number theoretical inconsistencies potential practical consequences mindfulness-based clinical practices. We argue that practices are potentially powerful psychological interventions should be well circumscribed (1) to assure safety access best available (2) used as part multi-component intervention or stand-alone treatment, particularly when empirically supported treatments such cognitive–behavioral therapies have not achieved desired outcomes.
