摘要: We study the effect of interactions on properties a model 2D topological Kondo insulator phase. Loosely motivated by recent proposals where graphene is hybridized with impurity bands from heavy adatoms partially filled d-shells, we introduce Hamiltonian which believe captures essential physics different competing phases. show that there are generically three possible phases combinations screening and magnetic order. Perhaps most dramatic example many-body in symmetry protected existence exotic edge states. demonstrate our mean field contains region time-reversal invariant bulk phase but TR spontaneously broken at edge. Such would not be non-interacting model. also comment stability this beyond theory.
