摘要: As one of the fastest growing communities in United States, Chinese-Americans receive relatively little research attention on their rates breastfeeding versus formula feeding, and what factors influence that choice. This aims to examine elders cultural beliefs postpartum, infant childcare practices. Semi-structured interviews with 22 recently postpartum mothers who met recruiting criteria were conducted between July 2012 February 2013. The traditional practice, zuo yuezi, presented negative physical emotional outcomes maternal reporting delay lactation.
