摘要: This study examines the innervation zone (IZ) in biceps brachii muscle healthy subjects and those with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) using a 20-channel linear electromyogram (EMG) electrode array. Raster plots of individual waveform potentials were studied to estimate motor unit IZ. While this work mainly focused on fasciculation (FPs), limited number (MUPs) from voluntary activity 12 seven ALS also examined. Abnormal propagation MUPs scattered IZs observed fasciculating units, compared voluntarily activated subjects. These findings can be related fiber reinnervation following neuron degeneration different origin sites FPs MUPs.
