摘要: Cytochrome P-450(M-1) [P-450(M-1)] is specifically expressed in adult male rat liver [Yoshioka, H., Morohashi, K., Sogawa, Miyata, T., Kawajiri, Hirose, Inayama, S., Fujii-Kuriyama, Y., & Omura, T. (1987) J. Biol. Chem. 262, 1706-1711]. Isolation and analysis of the gene for revealed that coding region interrupted by eight introns dispersed over a 35-kilobase pair chromosomal DNA. Intron insertion sites are located at equivalent positions to those cytochrome P-450b P-450e, which phenobarbital-inducible. Sequence 5'-upstream shows there homologous sequence glucocorticoid regulatory elements (GRE) identified glucocorticoid-responsive genes.
