摘要: Alzheimer's disease is the second most common neurodegenerative illness affecting elderly people. Early diagnosis could help to improve a patient's quality of life. The classical sandwich ELISA-based methods are usually costly and time consuming. In this study, we report design label-free immunosensing platform for sensitive detection ApoE protein as biomarker disease. immunorecognition event induces conformational changes in ferrocenyl alkyl groups tethered superficial gold nanoparticles vicinity antibody. heavy antigen/antibody complex enhances electron-transfer (ET) rate constants by bending chain, bringing ferrocene closer surface. Determination ET analytical performance studies series devices using with different chain lengths support proposed mechanism. best performances highest observed sensors having flexible chains. endowed large dynamic range (i.e. 0.13 >1880 ng mL−1) excellent selectivity specificity.
