摘要: Most cast dental restorations are made from alloys or commercially pure titanium (cpTi). Many orthodontic appliances also fabricated metallic materials. It has been documented in vitro and vivo that devices release metal ions, mainly due to corrosion. Those components may be locally systemically distributed could play a role the etiology of oral systemic pathological conditions. The quality quantity released cations depend upon type alloy various corrosion parameters. No general correlation observed between nobility However, it some Ni-based alloys, such as beryllium-containing Ni exhibit increased corrosion, specifically at low pH. Further, microparticles abraded wear. In sufficient quantities, ions-particularly Cu, Ni, Be, microparticles-can induce inflammation adjacent periodontal tissues mucosa. While there is evidence immune response can altered by these ions inflammatory diseases gingivitis periodontitis unknown. Allergic reactions have documented. especially identified being highly allergenic. Interestingly, 34% 65.5% patients who allergic Pd. Pd allergy always occurrs with sensitivity. contrast, no study published which supports hypothesis materials mutagenic/genotoxic might carcinogenic hazard man. Taken together, very contradictory data regarding local effects casting them. Therefore, critical importance elucidate environment determine biological interactions tissues.
