摘要: Recently, we have shown that female BALB/c mice are highly sensitive to chronic psychological stress. They develop systemic neuroendocrine disturbances, a hypermetabolic syndrome, behavioral alterations and severe immunosuppression with reduced antibacterial response during experimental infection. Here, show chronically stressed spontaneously suffered from increased bacterial load in the liver lung sustained for up 10 days after termination of stress exposure. Immediately last cycle, splenocytes had ability produce IFNgamma ex vivo stimulation LPS while showing enhanced inducibility IL-10. When healthy animals were treated anti-IFNgamma antiserum against small numbers endogenous bacteria physiologically penetrate intestinal barrier was causing burden liver. Thus, deficient translocated commensals can contribute long-lasting pneumonia.
