摘要: American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities experience notable health disparities associated with substance use, including disproportionate rates of accidents/injuries, diabetes, liver disease, suicide, use disorders. Effective treatments for are needed to improve equity AI/AN communities. However, an unfortunate history unethical stigmatizing research has engendered distrust reluctance participate in among many In recent years, researchers have made progress toward engaging ethical by using a community-based participatory (CBPR) framework work close partnership community members throughout the process. this methodological process paper, we discuss collaborative development quantitative survey aimed at understanding risk protective factors sample tribal residing on rural AI reservation numerous systems-level barriers recovery limited access treatment.
