摘要: Nicorandil, a unique dual pharmacological mechanism anti-anginal agent with adenosine triphosphate sensitive potassium (KATP) channel agonist and nitrate-like properties, provides cardiologists means of managing angina pectoris patients effectively long-term cardioprotection. The aim this review is to provide an update on the efficacy treatment nicorandil, which counteracts cardiac damage in acute or chronic ischaemic heart disease, congestive failure arrhythmia, particular emphasis that induced by preconditioning (in strong protection against ischaemia-reperfusion injury afforded brief preliminary period). First, rationale for nicorandil its effects vasculature cardiomyocytes are reviewed. mechanisms underlying preconditioning, focus those involve KATP pathway, such as mitochondrial permeability transition pores, sub-lethal reactive oxygen species generation nitric oxide production then discussed. Next, clinical practice related well other favourable improvement prognosis, it plays role improving endothelial function, modulating autonomic nervous system activity stabilizing plaque summarized. Finally, tolerability
