摘要: Cancer stem-like cells express high amount of CD44 variant8-10 which protects cancer from redox stress. We have demonstrated by immunohistochemical analysis and Western blotting, reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction, that c-Myc tend to show the inversed expression manner in gastric cells. That is attributable oxidative stress-induced canonical Wnt activation, furthermore, up-regulation downstream molecules, one oncogenic c-Myc, not easily occur variant-positive also found out CD44v8-10 associated with turn-over experiments using cell lines. This cannot be simply explained model activation. CD44v8-10-positive are enriched at invasive front. Tumor tissue area considered composed heterogeneous cellular population; dormant (high)/ Fbw7 (low) proliferative (low)/ (high).
