摘要: Objectives: The aim of our study was to examine the spectrum, demographics, and mortality rate among adolescents adults with congenital heart diseases (CHD) in Oman. Methods: Data collected retrospectively from Royal Hospital, Muscat, electronic health records for all patients a diagnosis CHD aged 13 years above. analyzed according type in-hospital assessed using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Results: A total 600 were identified, them 145 (24%) 18 or below. median age 24 years. majority had simple form CHD. Atrial ventricular septal defects together constituted 62.8% diseases. Most clustered Muscat (32%) Batinah regions (31.1%) Patients tetralogy Fallot Fontan shorter time than recorded published literature. Conclusion: Mostly forms younger observed. significantly shortened more complex lesions compared lesions. national data registry is needed address morbidities associated disease.
