摘要: Advances in surgical and medical treatment of children born with congenital heart disease have led to a growing number adult survivors, particularly adults complex disease. Childhood mortality has continuously decreased over the last few decades shifted almost entirely adulthood. However, most patients are not cured many remain at risk premature death. The extent excess among individual entities is well defined. In this article we outline current demographics selected lesions. Based on these contemporary patient cohorts, delineate future changes demographics. A better understanding trends may help optimal planning resource allocation for care multicenter research, novel population young, chronically ill adults.
