摘要: Abstract The oxido-reduction of 17-hydroxystearic acid by enzymes present in the microsomal and soluble fractions homogenates rat guinea pig liver was studied. rate oxidation l-17-hydroxystearic into 17-ketostearic 100,000 x g supernatant fluid homogenate 2.2 6 times, respectively, faster than d-17-hydroxystearic acid. In presence fraction homogenate, oxidized 1.4 times Reduction yielded which 72% 91%, l-17-enantiomer. 68% d-17- 32% acids. enzyme found to utilize 4A-hydrogen NADPH whereas utilized 4B-hydrogen NADH.
