摘要: The present study was initiated by a severe complication in patient with renal dysfunction who developed cortical blindness and weakness of her left extremities 30 hours following abdominal angiography. To evaluate the impact prolonged high serum concentrations contrast medium (CM) this clinical situation simulated laboratory model using sheep elevated levels maintained for 48 hours. experimental data did not support theory that exposure to circulating (4 ml/kg body weight meglumine diatrizoate 60%) is sufficient alone cause penetration blood-brain barrier.
