摘要: Abstract A series of LaBO3 (B = Cr, Co, Ni, Mn) and La0.9K0.1MnO3+δ perovskites have been prepared tested as catalysts in the combustion methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) at two concentration levels air. Complete MEK conversion can be achieved for most concentrated stream (1250 ppmv, WHSV = 425 h−1) temperatures between 270 °C (manganite) 345 °C (chromite). Activity is governed by nature cation position B related to reducibility, being comparable manganite activity with that much more expensive Pt-supported catalysts. Doping K lanthanum produces an increase surface area, well formation non-stoichiometric oxygen a greater proportion Mn4+ on surface. All these factors may role increasing its catalytic combustion. Catalytic results suggest marked influence rate. oxidation CO2 goes through acetaldehyde intermediate product; vinyl diacetyl (2,3-butanedione) were also formed, albeit very low amounts. Nevertheless, yield zero complete conversion, so carried out over perovskite systems 100% selectivity CO2.
