摘要: Copolymers of 1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole (VTAz) and acrylic acid (AA) having different mole ratios were synthesized using free radical-initiated solution polymerization in dimethylformamide at 70 °C with α,α′-azobisisobutyronitrile as initiator nitrogen atmosphere. The compositions the copolymers for a wide range monomer feeds determined Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy through recorded absorption bands VTAz (1510 cm−1, CN (triazole ring) stretching mode) AA (1710 CO units. structures characterized FTIR 1H NMR spectroscopy. copolymer also from analysis following proton signals carboxyl group 11.8–12.5 ppm triazole ring 7.5–8.1 VTAz. Monomer reactivity VTAz-AA pair estimated linear methods, i.e. Fineman–Ross (FR) Kelen–Tudos (KT). From evaluation, calculated r1 = 0.404 r2 1.496 FR method 0.418 1.559 KT method. These values found to be very close those obtained evaluation. two cases r1r2 < 1 indicated random distribution monomers final presence greater amount units than feed, respectively. observed relatively high activity complexed growing radical-AA• … was explained by effect complex formation between carbonyl groups fragments chain growth reactions.
