Improving the Performances of Poly(vinylphosphonic acid) by Compositing or Copolymerization with Poly(4-(α-methyl)vinyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole)

摘要: The poly(vinylphosphonic acid) (PVPA), poly(4-(α-methyl)vinyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole) (PMVTri), and poly(VPA-co-MVTri) were synthesized, proton exchange membranes prepared based on the acid-base polymeric composite of PVPA PMVTri, amphoteric copolymer poly(VPA-co-MVTri). overall performances PVPA, conductivity, thermal oxidative stability, water resistance, are greatly improved by compositing PMVTri or copolymerization with 4-(α-methyl)vinyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole (MVTri). About four eight folds improvement in maximum conductivity was observed PVPA/PMVTri because redistribution ions heterostructures respectively, compared pristine PVPA. At same time, stability resistance also attributing to absent α-H main chain interaction between phosphonic acid groups triazolyl groups, respectively.
