摘要: Background/aim Melanoma-associated antigen A12 (MAGEA12) has recently been reported as a repressor of tumor-suppressor genes. This study aimed to investigate the implications MAGEA12 expression in pathogenesis cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). Materials and methods p21 were investigated 15 samples normal skin 111 cSCC tissues by immunohistochemistry. The biological functions also both vitro vivo. Results Expression was significantly increased cSCC. showed positive correlation, while negative correlation with recurrence-free survival patients In addition, knockdown attenuated proliferative, migratory, invasive, tumorigenic activities cells negatively correlated Conclusion MAGEA12-mediated down-regulation may be involved serve molecular biomarker
