摘要: Amblyopia can possibly be avoided if it is detected early and treated appropriately. It remains to decided whether the general population should screened or a subpopulation of infants likely develop this pathology isolated. A study using odds ratio was performed on group unselected (n = 2143) aged 5–15 months who attended surveillance programme. Results show that family history visual defect has ‘protective’ effect individual infants, most probably because more these are brought in for check-up at an age parents' initiative. The risk factor with highest predisposition amblyopia found anisometropia. These results indicate necessity screening refraction resolution defects whole population. French health authorities have recently provide assessment visit all 9 months.
