Factors influencing severity of and recovery from anisometropic amblyopia.

摘要: Purpose To evaluate the correlation between degree of anisometropia with depth amblyopia and presence stereopsis. Methods A retrospective chart review 119 patients treated during 1995–2004 was carried out. All had undergone a full ophthalmological examination. Inclusion criteria were: >1 diopter (spherical and/or cylindrical), age at first examination 2 8 years, no previous optical correction, absence ocular neurological disorders, motility minimum follow-up years (mean 7.9 ± 4.3). Optical correction prescribed visit and, second visit, need for patching or penalization evaluated. Results The results show visual acuity (p < 0.001).
