摘要: Abstract A single sugar α-linked glucuronic acid-based oligosaccharide (SSGO), which is a by-product produced during bacterial cellulose (BC) synthesis by Gluconacetobacter hansenii , was evaluated as an additive to synthetic medium BC production. We assessed the ability of SSGO serve alternative carbon source glucose for To improve yield from G. PJK, added chemically defined (CDM). In presence 1% SSGO, amount 10.5 g/L after 10 days cultivation, whereas in absence only 7.4 g/L produced. These results indicate that can be used Moreover, addition CDM increased diameter fibers, improved its tensile strength and water release properties.
