摘要: The present study investigates the economical production of bacterial cellulose (BC) by Gluconacetobacter subsp. Xylinus (ATCC 10245) in 250 ml Erlenmeyer flasks cultivated under static conditions. fermentation media used contained food industrial by-product liquors, such as black strap molasses solution and corn steep liquor (CSL), which represents some most carbon nitrogen sources. However, because presence undesirable components (such coloring substances, heavy metals, other compounds) that may act inhibitors, order to eliminate them, crude has been treated with an acid, attempt increase BC productivity. amount produced using these sources was determined compared previously reported media. characterizations pellicles obtained either conventional or were studied thermal spectral techniques those plant-derived cotton linter, viscose pulp, microcrystalline cellulose.
