摘要: We report the structural and optical properties of Au nanoparticles embedded in a silica matrix synthesized by atom beam co-sputtering. The presence surface plasmon resonant absorption indicates formation nanoparticles. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) studies show with an average size ranging from ~1.8 to 5.4 nm narrow distributions depending on relative areas SiO2. discuss process nucleation growth nanocomposite films formed present method nanoparticle synthesis is compared other ion based techniques such as implantation mixing. Preliminary experiments for detection human ovarian cancer cells using these are described.
