摘要: Conventional tubular linear permanent magnet generator (LPMG) is composed of magnets which are placed in translator, and stator made iron. However, this topology suffers from the relatively huge cogging force due to interaction between iron, also a large core losses hysteresis eddy current. To reduce losses, modified design LPMG was proposed by reducing iron proportion stator. The would be applied for 1 kW p wave energy power plant south coast Java, Indonesia. reduction then compensated increasing number winding turn maintain output as desired. Resulted simulated using finite element magnetic software FEMM check values based on flux distribution. results simulation showed that needs 11.4% more turns produce equal power. mechanical loss decreases 24.7%. reduces 57.2% both current loss, 57.1% weight.
