摘要: This paper presents the design of linear permanent magnet generator for wave energy conversion. The main focus is to a which simple, lightweight and produce 1000 W electric power. Various types generators are studied such as; Transverse flux, vernier-hybrid iron-cored. air-cored selected as it eliminates cogging force problems present in existing generators. Three designs proposed presented. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) used determine electromagnetic performance generator. results all shown per expected.
