摘要: Direct driven permanent magnet linear generators (PMLGs) are an alternative solution for wave energy converters (WECs). Generally, problems such as high magnetic attraction forces between the magnets and core associated with direct PMLG. To eliminate attraction, air-cored can be used. They do not contain any stainless steel in either stator or rotor therefore there is no moving stationary parts. In this study, a novel design of multi-phase PMLG proposed. The main advantage generator reduction Lorentz acting on bearings by addressing force direction parallel to motion axis elimination cogging forces. Additionally, study new system bypassing inactive coils proposed simulated part grid integration system. achieves implementation small number elements connected series hence thermal losses reduced. All simulations made means finite-element (FE) software working simultaneously Matlab/Simulink.
