摘要: Eosinophils have been traditionally perceived as terminally differentiated cytotoxic effector cells. Recent studies profoundly altered this simplistic view of eosinophils and their function. New insights into the molecular pathways that control development, trafficking degranulation improved our understanding immunomodulatory functions these cells roles in promoting homeostasis. Likewise, recent developments generated a more sophisticated how contribute to pathogenesis different diseases, including asthma primary hypereosinophilic syndromes, also provided us with complete appreciation activities during parasitic infection.
