摘要: Supersonic turbulence fragments the interstellar medium into dense sheets, filaments, cores and large low-density voids, thanks to a complex network of highly radiative shocks. The is driven on scales, predominantly by supernovae. While scales order galactic disk thickness magnetic energy in approximate equipartition with kinetic turbulence, few pc turbulent significantly exceeds energy.
