摘要: Plant microtubule arrays differ fundamentally from their animal, fungal and protistan counterparts. These differences largely reflect the requirements of plant composite polymer cell walls probably also relate to acquisition chloroplasts. microtubules are usually dispersed lack conspicuous organizing centres. The key understanding this nature is identification proteins that interact with regulate spatial dynamic properties microtubules. Over past decade, a number these have been uncovered, including numerous kinesin-related 65 kDa class structural microtubule-associated appear be unique plants. Mutational analysis has identified MOR1, probable stabilizer homologue TOGp-XMAP215 high-molecular-weight proteins, katanin p60 subunit implicated in severing two provides new insights into mechanisms controlling assembly dynamics, particularly cortical array found highly polarized cells.
