摘要: In the past, fleet management has primarily had an asset focus, with safety initiatives being reactive to particular incidents or events. More recently, it been recommended that managers should work facilitate a conscious organisational culture/climate, though this not yet empirically investigated in setting. This study influence of climate upon three self-reported measures work-related driver safety: 1) current behaviour; 2) past crash involvement while driving for work; and 3) traffic offences work. A questionnaire was completed by 323 drivers from Queensland based fleets. There significant positive relationship between perceptions behaviour (r = .42). Multiple regression analysis revealed were predictor better than other psychological socio-demographic factors. However, further analyses showed did significantly predict previous offence involvement. Some differences also explored. These results suggest influences behaviour, long-term effect on remains unclear. practical terms, organisations (particularly supervisors) need consider impact factors employee behaviour. Further research is required investigate association on-road (namely offences).
