摘要: Histone H3 is specifically phosphorylated during both mitosis and meiosis in patterns that are coordinated space time. phosphorylation may initiate at different phases of the cell division organisms, but metaphase chromosomes always found to be heavily phosphorylated. Upon exit mitosis/meiosis a global dephosphorylation takes place. Potential candidates for kinases described their hypothetical mechanism action on highly condensed chromatin templates discussed.
