摘要: In embracing a multidisciplinary approach to the management of patients with sentinel node biopsy in breast cancer, pathologist task is screen nodes for possible metastasis. The consequences missing micrometastasis can directly influence treatment strategies, and this screening therefore has be performed more attention than usual. There presently great diversity histopathological work-up nodes, many centres employing additional techniques such as immunohistochemistry, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction or flow cytometry addition routine haematoxylin eosin staining. review, we address pathological validation significance primary cancer.
