摘要: Abstract (1) The role of the choroidal epithelium in transport amino acids from CSF to blood has been studied directly by using an vitro preparation frog posterior choroid plexus. (2) Neutral were found be selectively accumulated within plexus a temperature dependent sodium sensitive process located at side epithelium. There was no selective uptake serosal tissue. (3) In plexuses preloaded with 14 C labeled efflux experiments showed that most isotope washed out ventricular solution. This is interpreted as showing apical surface more permeable than basal surface. (4) Unidirectional flux measurements following acids, l -alanine, glycine, α-AIB, -proline, and -glutamic acid, not actively transported across (5) These results suggest least frog, are involved clearance CSF.
